President

My name is Karla and I am the proud owner of Family Priority Insurance. I was born in Leon, Guanajuato, Mexico and moved to Colorado with my family when I was just five years old. I am so grateful to call this beautiful state my home and be able to work with and beside my fellow Coloradans.

My journey in the insurance industry started in 2013. I am fully licensed in small business and home property insurance, auto, and health licenses. As a Latina-owned business, I am passionate about providing the best possible service to all of my clients, and I specialize in small business insurance. I work with only A+ rated carriers to represent my clients and ensure that they are getting the best possible coverage.

As your insurance broker, I represent you, the customer. I work hard to make sure that you are making the best decisions for your unique insurance needs. That is why I offer free insurance reviews. And I am always happy to take a look at your policies to see if there are any areas where we can save you money or provide better coverage.

The Importance of Family

When I am not working to provide my clients with the best insurance coverage, I am spending time with my awesome husband and two incredible boys! All three of them keep me on my toes, but support me wholeheartedly. Plus, I am also a proud aunt to two nieces and three nephews. Of course, I can’t forget to say something about our dog, Harley, and our cat, Sancho, who are a part of the family, too.

My husband and I especially enjoy hosting gatherings with our family and friends. We love seeing the smiles on everyone’s faces as they enjoy a delicious meal and some great laughs. I am also a puzzle nerd! But, don’t come at me with less than 1,000 pieces! 😂 My family and I also LOVE camping in the mountains. When we’re not hosting or camping, we also love going out to eat, finding locally owned Mexican restaurants, food trucks, or great sushi places.

Finally, I would like to share that my mother was a huge reason for me being brave enough to start my own business. She passed away in September, and I have included a picture of our family in all white to honor her memory. My family is a big part of my life and my business, and I am honored to serve my community with the same love and care that I give to my own family.

Hello! My name is Kindel and I am Vice President of Family Priority Insurance. As a Colorado native, born in Denver, I am very familiar with the needs of businesses and families in Colorado. I absolutely love this state!! I am excited to be joining my lovely wife in the insurance industry, building our agency together to better serve you.

Fully licensed in commercial, personal property, and auto insurance, I look forward to serving your insurance needs. Together we will find the coverage that best fits you and your situation. I strive for outstanding customer service, ensuring each customer feels confident they are making a well-educated decision on how best to protect themselves and their families.

Outside of work I love to hang out with my family, experiencing the great outdoors; from camping and fishing to backyard barbeques and everything in between. If it’s a weekend, you’re sure to find us on another adventure. I also consider myself a bit of a grill master. Cooking helps me relax and I love the satisfied expressions on guest’s faces as they devour something I created!
